Service Descriptions

We believe an effective and successful search begins by meeting with those corporate officials most impacted by the hiring of a specific candidate. The objective is to accurately define the position responsibilities, reporting relationships, short-term and long term goals, and expected interaction with staff, management, customers, and providers of external services. In addition to defining the candidate’s required technical and educational credentials, we will construct a profile (or navigator) that describes a qualified candidate in terms of temperament, work habits, career drive, and personal bearing. A position outline will be drawn up that details the mandatory or preferred qualifications covering past and current employment history, years of specific experience, and salary and relocation parameters.

Our services include:

• Retained Search
  Under our retained search programs, Spica Group will be given, by agreement, exclusive rights for recruiting, interviewing, screening, and selecting finalists for specific positions. These finalists are then interviewed by the client.

• Contingency Search
  Under our contingency search program there is no cost incurred to the client until they hire a candidate that is referred by Spica Group.

• Personnel Consulting Services
  Spica Group provides customized personnel consulting services.

• Contract Staffing
  To assist you in maximizing workforce flexibility, Spica Group provides contract staffing. Hourly rates are negotiated based on the experience needed and time length of assignment.

Search Process

Spica Group Incorporated works very closely with clients to understand the organizational style, culture, personality, and dynamics. The firm assesses client needs to determine the ideal skills and experience a candidate should possess. After identifying the organization’s needs, we search for candidates who will perform well in that environment as well as enhance the organization. Once the client company selects a candidate, we may assist in structuring a compensation package and then help that newly hired executive assimilate into the organization.

We provide our clients with a comprehensive service, which occurs in three distinct, sequential phases:

1. Recruit - We begin by identifying individuals who possess the technical and motivational qualifications our clients require. After careful screening, we then schedule face-to-face interviews with the most highly qualified candidates.

2. Offer - After mutual interest is determined, we assist in negotiating an acceptable compensation package with the finalist the client selects.

3. Transition - Once the clients offer is formally accepted, we help provide for a smooth transfer to the clients’ company, by counseling the new hire on proper resignation procedures and by helping to facilitate the move.
